The ZOO…!!

We spent the day yesterday in Nashville. The highlight of the trip had to be taking Ansley to the Nashville Zoo. She loved the animals that she saw. Here are a few pictures from our trip:

Tate Farms Fun

Today we took Ansley for her second trip to Tate Farms to pick a pumpkin. As soon as we arrived, she started announcing “punkin, punkin”. It was amazing to me to see her in the same settings as last year. She looked so big. She just soaks up everything and is excited by all of the new things that she sees everywhere, but that seemed to be especially true today.

This year, it is hard to say what her favorite thing was. Everything seemed exciting in its own way. I’ll say, though, the corn crib was much more of a hit this year. She actually sat in it and played a while. She is still not too fond of the “mess” of it and wouldn’t really jump in and get it all over her, but much improved over last year when she did not even want to touch it.
My favorite part of the day was looking for the perfect pumpkin out in the pumpkin patch. Ansley wanted “down” so she could see them for herself. She was fascinated by the “punkins”. We came home with a 30 pound pumpkin! I have to say it was by far the best pumpkin on our hayride back.
